The machine park allows the company to work on teeth from module 1 to module 30, with diameters from 10 mm to 3,000 mm, and grinding with a maximum diameter of 2,200 mm and module 30, with profile grinding. Using Oerlikon’s OPAL grinders, the company can grind internal gears from Mod 1 to Mod 12, from a minimum of 150 mm to a maximum of 1,200 mm in diameter. The machine park includes milling machines for straight and helical racks, thread and spline milling machines, as well as CNC lathes, which allow them to meet the most diverse processing needs. “For some years now,” continues Cesana, “we have also introduced, for example, complete product traceability, achieved through the use of barcode technology, which allows us to provide certain answers about the processing status at any time.
